we are just two crafty bitches that think crafting is cool and decided it was time to let others in on it. dig deep into our blog to get tutorials on all the best in the world of crafts, food, sewing and gardens. on a resourceful yankee budget.
we pride ourselves in making trendy crafts and recipes that abide by the DIY movement of supporting local commerce, using found objects as art and rejoicing the accomplishment of making it yourself. so take that, bitches!
while kathryn and dash are the ones with the spunk, excitement and excellent craft ideas, it take a whole team to make this work. from brothers that push the idea limits to friends that kick us in the ass to make something happen, this website is a creation from all of us that revel in eating, creating and spreading that joy to others.

dash is a part-time marine biologist/ part-time office manager by day, and craftinista by night. she has been crafting and sewing since the days of shrinky dinks and gimp. she currently resides in the woods of maine with her husband (that stud below in orange), two dogs, one kitten, 11 guinea fowl (yes, it used to be 15, don’t ask) and a turtle named moe. she’s one wild bitch.
kathryn spends most of her days romping through the fields of new hampshire. literally. she runs a cut flower business out of her family farm with the help of her two amazing golden retrievers. she also maintains a part-time job to help pay the bills and is a full time chef, gardener and sewing warrior. that amounts to the work of 2.5 individuals. she’s one industrious bitch.
kathryn and dash both grew up in new england, but met while going to college in colorado.
